We participate in all major tournaments played among Cambridge, as well as Matric schools. A highlight of our inter-school sports calendar is the annual Foundation Games, which includes football, cricket, basketball, throwball, table tennis, snooker and athletics. We also participate in one of Karachi's biggest cricket tournaments: the annual Oasis Cricket Tournament. We won in 2009, we were runners up in 2010 and reached the semi final in 2011.
BAY VIEW HIGH's Annual Sports Day is the highlight of BAY VIEW's sports calendar. Every year all students assemble at the National Coaching Centre to represent their Houses in a variety of track and field events. These include the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 1500 meters, as well as the 4x100 meter relay, and long jump. There is a highly competitive atmosphere, but fun too. The students dress in their house colours, with painted faces, house colour nail polish, matching bandanas. There is much flag waving and singing! A novelty sac-race rounds off the day.
Intra-school inter-House tournaments are held during the year for Basketball, Football, Cricket, Throwball, Table Tennis and Futsal. House Captains take the lead in preparing their House teams for these events. which features sports like cricket, basketball, football, throwball, table tennis and athletics. We have recently rejoined the Karachi Inter School Sports League (KISSL), and have reached two finals at the Karachi Goan Association (KGA) Ian Fyfe Cricket Tournament, coming out runners-up both times. We were crowned Champions in the inaugural Diya Inter School Futsal Tournament in 2005,
The Karachi United Inter School Football (KU) is also a much anticipated tournament amongst our students, as is the Pakistan School Sports Olympiad (PSS), and remained undefeated for five consecutive years. As Diya did not organize this tournament in 2010, we at Bay View High College Campus and Bay View High Middle School ran a Festival Futsal Tournament 2011, at the College Campus premises, at which Bay View High was again the champion.Apart from these major tournaments, we play friendly matches against Karachi's leading sports schools in sports such as throwball, football, cricket, table tennis, hard court tennis and basketball.
BAY VIEW HIGH has had many excellent individual players. Students such as Shan Masood, Jehangir Shah Khan and Syed Aqib Hasan Rizvi are all cricketers who have played at National, Provincial, District and Zone level. Shan is at present playing for the Pakistan A Team in a series against the Afghanistan the National Team.
